Psy, of the gangnam style fame, is arguably the most famous Korean in the world besides Kim Jong Un. But have you wondered how Psy is perceived in his home country of South Korea, where he was recently questioned by the Police over the ongoing YG prostitution scandal? We hit the streets of Seoul to find out.

Another fake news omg…. Why does Asian boss always make a video about fake rumors?? Psy was questioned by police as a reference(because he was in YG Ent at that time) not a suspect. It's a Yang Hyun-suk(YG)'s scandal not Psy's scandal.

    What is the big deal?
Psy didn't force anyone to be a prostitute and if anything he helped the women with valuable business contacts.
This is a fake scandal, a tsunami in a teacup.
Who was the person who made money selling newspapers over this?

Foreign investers, businessmen, hostesses, escorts, sex….. Nothing new and done in every countries on this little rock. If anyone think this is rare, I know the Brooklyn Bridge is for sale on Ebay now.

This might sound bad, but prostitution is literally legal everywhere in the world including some city's in the US, so prostitution is not a big deal.

Is jumping into conclusion really a Korean culture in general? it seems that people like taking it personally, even for something that is not even proven true. I mean these people would go as far as refunding the ticket. I mean if you enjoy the music then the musician personality or personal life has nothing to do with what you enjoy right?

Form what I can tell Psy was only called in as a witness, having attended a party that was believed to have prostitutes at it. He wasn’t accused of organising it and there isn’t proof that there were prostitutes there. In Australia this is nothing. In fact in this country prostitution is legal. Not that I like that. Psy is obviously a singer not management for YG Entertainment. If there was an party like this put on by the company it is most likely that the singers have to attend in order to abide by their contracts.

Koreans need to grow up. Sure it is kinda pathetic but what is the issue as long as they girls weren't underage or forced?

Internationally, nobody cares about this. The girl in the end is right, western celebrities do much worse AND they get away with it. Which is actually quite sad. I would like to entertain the idea that doing bad things (Like illegal things, not like… dating someone or saying a bad word once) will actually affect a celebrity negatively and will stop them from staying in the public like they do.

La mayoría al parecer irá a ese concierto sea culpable o no. Concuerdo con el we que dijo que deberían cancelarlo hasta averiguar bien qué pedo con el PSy, de lo contrario, se debería devolver el dinero.

Guys I wouldn't risk tarnishing your reputation of honest journalism for the sake of a few extra clicks… He hasn't been charged, he was simply questioned as one of MANY others. Only when he's charged should you make a video like this. Disappointed with this.

I'm from a country on the other side of the world, I'm only know what the reporter said at the beginning, "being questioned". So, how well do people listen to the news in Korea?! Some said they called him as witness, just to testify/declare, others said that he's involved, wtf?! I'm saying this because it's not the first time see/reading korean people comment about subject in a total uninformative way, and the words "I feel betrayed" or "even if it's true, I believe in their innocence" always appear. It's as if they reacted to the scandal and not the actual facts. It's this a cultural problem or it's the news in korea not doing a good job? O.o

in the usa, celebrities are held as beacons to justify and propagate absolute, unbridled, degeneracy.

I have no issues with prostitutes whatsoever. As long as they aren't underage and the women or men aren't abused or forced in anyway… it's whatever to me. They can do whatever hell they want. And that also means I have no issues with people hiring prostitutes. Same rule applies. If they don't abuse them, it's fine. If all parties involved are happy or content, why should I have an issue with this. The thing is every country has their own laws so if u break the law (prostitution, bribery etc) then u have to face the consequences

You be ashamed of yourselves. PSY was called in for questioning simply because he's at the top of the industry, and he'll have knowledge of people involved, and what they do.He himself has been accused of absolutely nothing by the police….but here you are, making fake news, in order to get clicks….by implying that he was something other than an informer, and using nothing more than speculation from people on the street….as innuendo. You have revealed yourselves as people with no journalistic integrity. Unsubscribed.
