Finally. An episode with real swords, not spatulated, bat shapped, iron from the goblin societies of the world… wish the tang was thicker

    West coast ??
    Ohhh … that explains it.
You are never going to progress until you get the "f " out of there .
Sub – standard all the way.
You won't be able to progress until you get away from that " substandard " "participation policy " environment.
    Welcome to ADULTHOOD dude.

Funny thing is, I’ve never seen the judges, ALL of them, look so upset or even upset at all to shake a “winning” contestant’s hand.

An atom flew off the handle wrap of your sword. Your blade has suffered a catastrophic failure and can no longer continue in the testing. For that I will have to ask you to leave the forge.

    Bruh, that hurt me

0:43 helps if you hit it with the sharp side, handle seems unergonomic

That bend was there before he slapped the ice with the flat of the blade and not the edge. Maybe. Second guy got robbed. Definitely.

Wow, the higher quality blade lost because of the handle, this is a joke.

Human error . Have Robots Test the blades

Wow.. A great idea for an episode, with only one chosen contestant, worth watching, and he didn’t even win.. calling this kid a champion is a disgrace to other actual champions of this show. Anyone could have won in his position. Congratulations on being the least impressive blade-smith to ever win.

    Posted April 30, 2020 4:53 am

Ugh, that is not a catastrophic failure at all… the other guys sword took a ton of blade damage and overall was bent! Are you kidding???

  • Devin Hayden
    Posted April 30, 2020 4:53 am

Now he can kill everything rightly?

  • mischiefpwns
    Posted April 30, 2020 4:53 am

He should have said the pommel disconnects as a feature to allow the wielder to end his foe rightly.

  • Matthew Lowdon

I came for the keeeeel jokes… but was disappointed by the supposedly catastrophic failure.

You could tell he was hesitating to send him off at the end, first time I have seen that from him. Could clearly see he was the better smith.

For the next contestant, build super heavy sword and pray for your contender sword fall off.

  • Ethan Kendall
    Posted April 30, 2020 4:53 am

This show would really be WAY better if the guys who were "testing" the weapons, knew what they were doing.

  • Thomas Wright
    Posted April 30, 2020 4:53 am

    So unfair

  • Deadrift89
    Posted April 30, 2020 4:53 am

Sucks that Drew lost this one. His weapon was far superior in almost every regard. If only he'd taken a little more time attaching the pommel. Yeah, his torch went out, but I'm sure a neighbor had at least a spare propane torch that he could have borrowed to finish it up.

  • JoeAllen Martino
    Posted April 30, 2020 4:53 am

Wow over a pummel and the other guys sword is warped and has no edge left good job judges

  • Triune Blades
    Posted April 30, 2020 4:53 am

This judge is rather arrogant sometimes.
Jay says, "John, are you ready?" John says, "Yeah, I'm just a little nervous." Jay replies, "Well, I'm going to do it anyways sooo…"
No kidding. He was just answering your question, not saying he wanted you to simply skip to the next part. 🙄

Strength test dude : Drew how you feeling?

    Drew: I am ready

Shouldn't he say that he is exicited/nervous etc….

  • Matthew Cooper
    Posted April 30, 2020 4:53 am

How in God's name is this a catastrophic failure? The pommel came off, oh well. If the handle isn't falling off then it's fine.

  • Travelers Rest
    Posted April 30, 2020 4:53 am

I can’t stand the guy who does the strength tests. He is so rude and negative, it makes me not want to watch and I love this show

  • Matthew Daltrey
