Experienced living abroad in poor and developing countries, including Haitian communities.
Soon the immediate needs for medical, relief, and search-and-rescue effort will be replaced by long term efforts to rebuild. Given my background, skills, and interest, I would be a good asset to such efforts.
A note on language: My Creole is basic but rooted in 7 years study of French and a familiarity with learning and applying new languages for immediate conversational competence. I am a fast learner.

I graduated from NDSU in May, and, like so many, have been unable to find work. I would love to assist in the reconstruction effort. I need to take part in this. I can be in Haiti for an indefinite amount of time, I will offer all that I can. I am passionate about design of necessity and can't imagine a more fulfilling experience.
