I can build a house, dig a hole, feed a kid, hold an IV bag, create and manage a computer network, teach someone to smile, distribute food, ensure security. Whatever is needed.. I am ex-US Army, highly intelligent, tough, fit and able to assist in any way required... I am unemployed and would very much like to help in any way I can.

ABOUT THE VISION HAITI FOUNDATION ♥

The Vision Haiti Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)3, operating out of Miami, Florida. The Foundation was developed by Haitian diaspora as a means for restoring hope and improving the future of Haiti's re-development through job skills and trades' education. As we are planning and constructing Vision Haiti's new vocational schools we have partnered with several existing schools in cities all around the country. These Vision Haiti affiliates desperately need your help.

Looking For:

Long Term Project Help - we have the opportunity to build by the water but their materials will not stand up against the salt. We need ideas for building there. Our goal is to build a large orphanage/school/mission(guest) house/medical facility. We need to know how to do this.

I am hoping to use my experience and training in water and sanitation in developing countries to assist in the extension of these critical needs to those with limited or no access to such provisions. I am also very willing to assist in any activities needing manual labor, preferably those related to water and sanitation, such as laying pipelines or building improved latrines.

My spring break from college is March 20-28. If anyone has a trip going during that time period, please e-mail me. I can more than hold my own with construction, but if the need is elsewhere, I'm more than happy to help.

I like come to haiti and work.

This team will be working and staying at an orphanage in Cabaret, Haiti. We need construction members to help build a house that week, medical members for a clinic and others for kids camps or food distribution. The cost of this trip is $400 + airfare. The $400 covers transportation, lodging, meals and security. Airfare from Miami/Fort Lauderdale is running between $250 and $350. We will be purchasing tickets on Feb. 20. You can send the money to us for plance tickets or we can contact you with the flight numbers and you can purchase on your own.
